My Favorite Books To Share In Therapy

Yours Truly,

Anna Lindberg Cedar MPA LCSW

(Therapy For Real Life Founder)

Therapy doesn’t actually work, unless you practice it in real life. In fact, one of the core functions of a good therapist (imho) is to help individuals find tools and resources to better navigate our lives. I recently shared a list of my favorite books in an episode of the Therapy For Real Life Podcast as part of my personal mission to make burnout prevention concepts more accessible to everyone, everywhere. I promised to share them with you here as well.

You will notice that this list of favorites reflects my personal values as a therapist —  with strong a bias towards research-backed self-care, mindfulness and relationship strategies. I admit that this list is very humble compared to all of the excellent therapy and self-care books that are available out there. I hope that you will add your own self-care suggestions to create your own self-care library of suggestions to keep and share with friends.

Enjoy!
